The Arena

In response to the current culture, The Arena is a mobile app where men and women record daily actions of discipline in competition against one another. Forging discipline is normally a dull and difficult task, but The Arena transforms the process into an exciting game. Built on competition and social influence, the app taps into the powerful motivation that is only available through peer-to-peer competition.

         The Basics             

 

  1. Sign up with your friends or group

  2. Choose objective actions to track

  3. Select a point value for each action

  4. Record actions you complete each day

  5. Try to outscore a weekly opponent

         Game Details

 

Choose from pre-set actions (such as ‘Make Bed’, ‘Prayer’, or ‘Exercise’) or create up to 20 custom actions! Games can include up to 32 players and last from 4-16 weeks. The player with the best overall record at the end is the champion.

Why it Works

The Arena is built around competition and social influence – two of the most powerful motivators, especially for young people. Building discipline is normally a dull chore, but The Arena transforms the process into an exciting game.

The game also creates a system of consistency and organization, prompting players to grow in awareness of their strengths and weaknesses, and providing clear data for them to plan, pursue, and measure progress.
