An Athletes Daily Offering

Lord Jesus Christ,

give me the strength to compete against the trials of the day.

Give me the skills to defeat my opponents.

Give me the work ethic to out work my temptations.

Give me patience with my brothers and sisters, my teammates.

Give me the sight to see the dangers of Satan.

Give me the focus to see you in all aspects of the day.

Give me the emotion to rally others towards you.

And give me the rage against sin that will allow me to run to you.

Allow me in this day to play for you, My God, and my team, The Catholic Church.

Make me your Rock.
