I don’t know about you, but sometimes I look at the saints and think that sainthood is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE for me!
But, as I was reflecting on my life and ways that I can grow, I wanted to share some quotes that I think will help give us all some practical ways to pursue the divine in our day-to-day.
“There is nothing more pleasing to God, than to see a soul who patiently and serenely bears whatever crosses it is sent” -St. Alphonsus Liguori
“If you really want to love Jesus, first learn to suffer because suffering teaches you to love” -St. Gemma Galgani
“Wherever people are suffering make it your task to serve them” -Saint John Paul II
“Never get tired of doing little things for others, sometimes those little things occupy the biggest part of their hearts” -St Therese of Lisieux
“Try to laugh a lot, because life is funny, and everybody today is too serious. The only tragedy in the world, my friend, is sin.” -Mother Angelica
“Ask Jesus to make you a saint. After all, only He can do that.” -St. Dominic
“Be humble, be simple, and bring joy to others.” -St. Madeleine Sophie Barat”
“If you listen, God will also speak to you, for with the good lord, you have to both speak and listen.” -St. Catherine Laboure
“Love the Madonna and pray the rosary, for her rosary is the weapon against the evils of the world today.” -St. Padre Pio
“If He so wills, God can draw His glory from our most insignificant actions.” -St. Margaret Mary
May the saints be a guiding voice to find the simplicity in your day. Continue striving for sainthood. Continue the good fight!
